Zannchi Korean Brunch & Dinner in Campbell River offers a well-rounded dining experience rooted in Korean and broader Asian flavors, tailored to both brunch crowds and dinner seekers. Located conveniently on Island Hwy, it draws a mix of locals craving a taste of Korean home cooking and visitors looking for something beyond the usual options in the area.

The atmosphere at Zannchi leans casual yet thoughtfully put together—bright and welcoming without feeling rushed or overly formal. It’s a spot where families after outdoor activities or friends catching up over coffee and dessert can feel comfortable. On rainy or colder days, the warm, savory bibimbap or caramelized kimchi with beef dishes provide a satisfying, soul-soothing meal. The brunch menu stands out by blending traditional breakfast staples with Korean twists, like the Kimchi Benny with its spiced hollandaise and Korean basil hash, giving locals a fresh way to start their weekends or midday breaks.

One of the highlights is the variety in their menu, offering everything from steamed and fried mandu (Korean dumplings), japchae (glass noodle stir-fry), to creative dessert options such as homemade Basque cheesecakes in different flavors, tiramisu, and bubble tea served in generous portions. The combination of comforting house-made items and approachable Korean flavors makes it a fitting spot for anyone new to Korean food or those who have grown up with it and want high-quality, authentic preparation.

Visitors often mention the attentive and friendly service, which complements the warm, homey vibe. The drink menu adds a nice touch with carefully prepared lattes and smoothies featuring tropical fruit and coconut jelly, which highlight how Zannchi blends global influences with traditional Korean elements to keep the menu both familiar and intriguing.

This restaurant works best for anyone looking for a relaxed meal with some Korean flair—whether that’s a weekend family gathering, a cozy solo brunch, or a casual dinner after a day outdoors. The space invites longer stays, letting diners enjoy the combination of rich flavors and approachable presentation without feeling rushed.

Food is a good 4.5 but I find it difficult to give it 5 stars. The price is good and for a place like Campbell river, this place is great if you are craving Korean or Eastern Asian food. There’s lots of variety in choices and the atmosphere looks great.

Best Bi Bim Bap in Campbell River by far! A ton of veggies, delicious spicy kimchi, and tender beef. Perfect for a rainy day. I’ve been here 5 times and will return.

Took our family from Vancouver here after swimming at Campbell Lake. Amazing home cooked high quality food and best service! Bubble tea here is great too and very big cups

This place is always so good! The food is fresh and hot and flavourful. Also love the new drunk menu. I got a real fruit mango and pineapple smoothie with coconut jelly and fried pork mandus. Both so good and the people who run it are so friendly

Simply amazing and authentic food. It was worth it to come from Ottawa and eat here. Twice. Kimchi is simply the best in my life. We had Korean Army Stew: one cheese & spam, second tofu & mushrooms. We had no room for cheesecakes but took it to go for breakfast and it was amazing too - one rose flowers second passion fruit. The next day we ate again cheese & spam stew and dumplings (they tasted the right spices and very juicy). The plum tea was just great. And cheesecakes again for the breakfast. This owner definitely knows what he's doing.

Amazing Korean food! Extremely unreliably open in my experience, please fix that your food is awesome. Used to be Kung Fu Cafe.
